Willo the Wisp lives in a wood where every day is a holiday. Magic spells abound with Evil Edna, a witch in the form of a television set, and Mavis Cruet - a fairy with a weight problem.

A down to earth caterpillar with a cynical wit, Arthur, outraged by the wicked machinations of Evil Edna, conspires with Mavis Cruet's ineffectual magic to overcome the evil spells of the television witch.
