Tanglewood's Secret
Tanglewoods' Secret is a delightful family film set in the woodlands of the South of England in the late 1940s. Philip and Ruth are staying with their rather strict aunt whilst their parents are abroad. Ruth is impetuous and outspoken and often gets them both into trouble of one kind of another. Building a secret hideout in the woods, the children meet Terry, a gypsy boy, who shares the secrets of the forest with them. The sickness and death of Terry, after falling from a tree, causes Ruth to ask many challenging questions of her good and wise friend, Mr Tandy - a local shepherd. Based on the book by Patricia M St John, this beautiful entertaining and moving film is ideal for children - but is also delightful entertainment for everyone. 1 x 50 minutes Click here for a RealVideo clip.
